Tools Overview
HVAKR includes interactive tools to help you understand and optimize your HVAC designs.
Available Tools

Accessing Tools
Section titled “Accessing Tools”Psych Chart and Ductulator are items in the main sidebar — click either one directly, there’s no separate “Tools” menu to open first.
Both tools also have direct URLs:

- app.hvakr.com/tools/ductulator
No project is required to use them, but you do need to be signed in to an HVAKR account with an active subscription.
Tool Features
Section titled “Tool Features”Interactive Interface
Section titled “Interactive Interface”- Psychrometric Chart — click or drag to place and move state points, with real-time property calculations
- Ductulator — enter your design constraints and see sizing results update live as you type
Unit Conversion
Section titled “Unit Conversion”Both tools follow your account’s Imperial/Metric unit preference (set in Settings) and convert values automatically.
Saving Your Work
Section titled “Saving Your Work”- Psychrometric Chart — save named charts and reload them later from the History panel; export the current chart as a PNG
- Ductulator — calculates live from your inputs; there’s no save/history, but any overridden dimension can be reset back to the calculated value
Standalone by Design
Section titled “Standalone by Design”Psych Chart and Ductulator always run independently — there’s no way to open them from inside a project, and they don’t pull in or push results to project data. Use them for quick reference calculations alongside your project work, not as part of the project workflow itself.
