IAQP Report
The IAQP (Indoor Air Quality Procedure) report documents your project’s compliance with ASHRAE Standard 62.1 ventilation requirements.
Report Purpose
Section titled “Report Purpose”The IAQP report provides:
- Ventilation calculations for each zone
- System-level outdoor air requirements
- Compliance documentation
- Design basis for ventilation
Zone Ventilation Data
Section titled “Zone Ventilation Data”For Each Zone
Section titled “For Each Zone”The report shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Zone Name | Zone identifier |
| Area (Az) | Zone floor area |
| Occupancy (Pz) | Design occupancy |
| Rp | Outdoor air per person |
| Ra | Outdoor air per area |
| Vbz | Breathing zone OA |
| Ez | Zone air distribution effectiveness |
| Voz | Zone outdoor air |
Calculations
Section titled “Calculations”For each zone:
Vbz = Rp × Pz + Ra × AzVoz = Vbz / EzSystem Ventilation Data
Section titled “System Ventilation Data”For Each System
Section titled “For Each System”The report includes:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| System Name | System identifier |
| Total Voz | Sum of zone OA |
| Ev | System ventilation efficiency |
| Vot | System outdoor airflow |
| Ps | System outdoor air ratio |
Multi-Zone Calculation
Section titled “Multi-Zone Calculation”For multi-zone systems:
Ev = 1 + Xs - ZdVot = Σ(Voz) / EvSpace Types Reference
Section titled “Space Types Reference”Ventilation Rates
Section titled “Ventilation Rates”ASHRAE 62.1 rates used:
| Space Type | Rp (CFM/person) | Ra (CFM/ft²) |
|---|---|---|
| Office | 5 | 0.06 |
| Conference | 5 | 0.06 |
| Classroom | 10 | 0.12 |
| Retail | 7.5 | 0.12 |
