Introduction to HVAKR
HVAKR is a cloud-based HVAC design platform built for mechanical engineers. It streamlines the entire HVAC design workflow from load calculations to equipment selection and report generation.
What is HVAKR?
Section titled “What is HVAKR?”HVAKR handles the complete HVAC design process:
- Load Calculations - Cooling and heating load calculations based on ANSI/ASHRAE/ACCA Standard 183
- Ventilation Design - ASHRAE 62.1 compliant ventilation calculations
- Duct Layout - Duct sizing and layout design with critical path analysis
- Equipment Sizing - Central and terminal unit selection
- Report Generation - Professional reports including loads summary, equipment schedules, and duct schedules
